Conference Registration Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations received by 5:00 p.m. ET on or before February 26, 2027, will be refunded, less a $135 processing fee. No refunds will be issued after that date, but substitutions are permitted. To change or cancel a registration, call the Georgia Center at (706) 542-7493, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET. If the event is cancelled for any reason, the UGA Center for Continuing Education & Hotel will not be responsible for travel-related expenses.

Continuing Education Credit Registration

Continuing education credits are anticipated for Forestry (CFE), Real Estate, and Georgia Law (CLE). Please indicate the credits you need when registering for the conference. Appropriate documentation will be provided to you and/or submitted on your behalf, depending on the credit type. If you did not request credits during registration, you may sign up on-site at the conference registration desk.

For CLE credits outside of Georgia, attendees are responsible for received CLE approval from their state licensing board. Please email Erin Lincoln at [email protected] to receive a packet you can submit to your state licensing board for CLE approval.

Air Travel to the Conference

For attendees flying to the Timberland Investment Conference, Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) is the closest major airport, located 27 miles from The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island—about a 40-minute drive. Attendees may rent a vehicle at the airport or use a ride-share service to reach the conference.

Please note that THE PLAYERS Championship will take place south of Jacksonville, Florida, from March 11–14, 2027, and ride-share availability may be limited on Friday, March 12, and Saturday, March 13. Attendees are encouraged to arrange transportation from The Ritz-Carlton to JAX in advance. The Ritz-Carlton can provide a list of recommended taxi and limousine services.

Ritz-Carlton Room Block

While we work to reserve enough hotel rooms for conference attendees, the Ritz-Carlton room block is limited and often sells out. Amelia Island also offers several nearby independent and chain hotels, and some attendees choose short-term rentals during their stay.

Please note that The Ritz-Carlton requires cancellation at least two weeks in advance to receive a full room refund.
