Erin Lincoln is the Director of the Harley Langdale, Jr. Center for Forest Business at the University of Georgia’s Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources, where she leads the Center’s mission to integrate cutting‑edge academic research with sound financial and economic analysis to support the global forest sector. Erin currently teaches courses at UGA in forest business, conservation, and forestry consulting while advising students in the Master of Forest Resources (MFR) in Forest Business program. Since 1997, the Center has combined advanced forestry coursework with MBA‑level training through the UGA Terry College of Business, preparing industry‑ready professionals for careers in forest operations, timberland investing, and natural resource management.
Erin brings nearly two decades of experience in forestry, environmental consulting, and natural resources to her leadership. Prior to joining UGA, she served in several roles at Tetra Tech, most recently as Southeast Region Manager, overseeing multidisciplinary teams on water resources, environmental compliance, and forest‑sector development projects across the southern United States. She currently serves in leadership roles with the Georgia Forestry Foundation, Georgia Advancing Leader’s in Agriculture and Forestry Program, and the Society of American Foresters. She received an M.S. in Forest Hydrology from Virginia Tech and a B.S. in Forest Environmental Resources from the University of Georgia.
